Job Details
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously throughout all phases of construction
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Superintendents and project teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts, change orders, and project agreements
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
- Drive project planning, risk management, procurement, and execution strategies
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve cost, schedule, and quality outcomes
- Lead owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and executive-level project reviews
- Review and approve project estimates, buyout strategies, subcontract agreements, and project forecasts
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Partner with field leadership to support safe and efficient project execution
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, warranties, and owner turnover
- Participate in business development and client relationship management efforts when appropriate
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
- Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $10M+ from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and risk management
- Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
