Accountabilities
- Lead GHG inventories and climate action assessments in line with recognized standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
- Conduct energy modeling, decarbonization analysis, and identify emissions-reduction opportunities.
- Serve as LEED Project Administrator and support certifications such as LEED, WELL, and other green building rating systems.
- Develop decarbonization and energy roadmaps, evaluate technical and financial feasibility of sustainability strategies.
- Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and client-facing presentations to communicate technical findings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring interns and early-career staff while advancing practice-wide knowledge.
- Stay current on emerging regulations, technologies, and trends shaping decarbonization and sustainability practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-6 years of experience in GHG accounting, carbon management, energy management, sustainability consulting, or green building certification.
- Strong knowledge of GHG accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) and sustainability reporting mechanisms (CDP, TCFD, SBTi).
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) credential.
- Experience with energy analysis tools, carbon accounting software, and green building certification platforms.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication, able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and work effectively across teams and disciplines.
- Preferred: experience in healthcare or complex building types, familiarity with LCA tools, renewable energy systems, or low-carbon technologies.
- Competitive salary range: $105,000–$125,000 annually.
