Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Carbon, ESG, Sustainability Consulting, and Energy & Performance Engineering teams to deliver data-informed solutions
- Support clients and internal teams with GHG accounting, data management, validation, and Excel-based analysis
- Perform detailed analyses related to Scope 1-3 GHG inventories, target feasibility assessments, emissions forecasting, reduction modeling, and cost modeling
- Draft and co-deliver reports and presentations that clearly communicate climate impact data and recommendations
- Identify opportunities to automate routine data cleaning and analysis tasks
- Conduct self-led research and leverage subject matter expertise to enhance technical knowledge of GHG standards, methodologies, and regulatory disclosures
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in a professional setting contributing directly to project delivery
- Passion for data analysis and climate action, with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop analyses, create visualizations, and communicate results effectively
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Bonus: experience in sustainability data, GHG accounting, automation of data workflows, financial data analysis, project management, or climate science knowledge
- Competitive salary range: $70,000-$90,000 USD depending on location and experience
