Accountabilities

  • Lead the design, coordination, and execution of a national energy affordability campaign, ensuring alignment with global strategy and messaging.
  • Develop and refine campaign strategies and policy positions in collaboration with senior leadership and external advisors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, coalitions, funders, policymakers, and non-traditional allies to broaden impact.
  • Act as a public spokesperson through media engagements, events, and digital platforms to amplify campaign visibility.
  • Identify and secure funding opportunities, contributing to long-term sustainability and expansion of campaign efforts.
  • Oversee campaign operations, including budget management, timelines, risk assessment, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to respond to emerging opportunities, mobilize actions, and deliver campaign resources.
  • Support grassroots engagement through grants, toolkits, and training, fostering collaboration and collective action.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of experience managing impactful national campaigns, ideally within advocacy, grassroots organizing, or public policy.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives requiring influence, negotiation, and strategic alignment.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. political and policy landscape, with experience connecting local and national advocacy efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, including securing significant grants or donor contributions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, media engagement, and written storytelling.
  • Experience managing teams and collaborating effectively in remote, distributed environments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with digital, communications, and fundraising teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including accountability, adaptability, collaboration, and ethical decision-making.
