Accountabilities
- Leading environmental and social due diligence (ESDD) for infrastructure, renewable energy, and climate-related projects.
- Conducting risk assessments, materiality analyses, and benchmarking against global standards (e.g., IFC PS, ICMA Bond Principles, TCFD, TNFD).
- Developing and refining climate metrics, frameworks, taxonomies, and scoring methodologies.
- Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to convert environmental insights into dashboards, models, and analytics products.
- Translating technical workflows into intuitive digital features, defining product requirements, and iterating with tech teams.
- Engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, DFIs, investors, and private sector partners, to strengthen project outcomes.
- Managing multi-stakeholder project components, timelines, budgets, and consultant inputs, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
- 8+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, climate risk assessment, infrastructure evaluation, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of climate finance, sustainability frameworks, ESG standards, and environmental impact methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with data systems or participation in tech product development.
- Ability to translate technical assessments into actionable insights and digital tools.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience in renewable energy, smart infrastructure, nature-based solutions, or low-carbon technologies.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, GIS tools, or analytics platforms is an advantage.
- Experience as a product owner or manager is a plus.
