We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sustainable Asset Lead with 7-10 years of experience to join our dynamic Sustainability Consulting team. This role is looking for a client facing, subject matter expert with P&L responsibility. Contribute to the overall success of our Sustainability Consulting team through:
- Direct leadership responsibility for planning and effective delivery of services to clients and stakeholders
- Leading the delivery of work to support Sustainable Building client programs or projects, including certification, site performance assessments and RCx
- Leading the formulation and implementation of Net Zero Carbon pathways for new and existing buildings, including assessing current carbon footprints and developing decarbonisation strategies.
- Applying mechanical engineering expertise to advise on efficient HVAC systems, renewable energy integration, and other building services to optimize energy and environmental performance.
- Delivering accurate, high-quality, engaging, and client-ready outputs, including reports, presentations, workshops, and analytical models.
- Advising clients on compliance with relevant environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
- Support sales initiatives and identify strategic areas for new business development with clients/stakeholders, creating new solutions to drive the industry forward
- Thought leader responsible for employee development and sharing of industry best practices
- A minimum of 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical building services consultancy, building design, specification or operation
- Experience of RCx and existing building performance optimisation
- Experience working with Green Building rating tools for existing buildings
- Proven experience in Net Zero Carbon strategy development and implementation.
- Excellent attention detail
- Experience of P&L responsibility and team management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Project management skills, including managing deliverables to time and budget.
- Proven client relationship building capabilities
- Experience in improving the sustainable performance of commercial buildings
- Building design and performance simulation using tools like IES
- Chartered Engineer
- LEED AP / BEAM Pro
- CCP (BCCB) or CBCP (AEE) certifications
