JOB DESCRIPTION:
Project Managers will be responsible for the planning, execution, and closeout of assigned projects within established budget and schedule. Responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, including contractors and consultants, to deliver projects according to plan. Provides leadership, direction and resources to the project supervisor, subordinate project managers and project staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project
· Working with other departments to develop budgets and plans to support project goals
· Monitoring projects and overseeing task to ensure goals are met
· Meeting with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
· Working with the management team to improve strategies
· Instruct Project Managers and Assistant Project Manager
· Management of Subcontractors
· Promoting and ensuring a Nuclear Safety Culture is embedded within the Project
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Minimum of 5 years project management experience in the Nuclear Industry, completed projects, and good performance reviews
· Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
· Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
· Risk management
· Written and verbal communication skills
· Cost control and budgeting skills
· Teamwork and motivational skills
· Organizational and multitasking skills
· Proficiency with P6 & Hard dollar software/formats is a plus
· Familiarity with working in a Nuclear facility/environment
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, specifically Industrial Engineering/Nuclear Engineering is a plus
· PMP Certification is a plus
·Previous Nuclear Decommissioning experience is preferred
