Project Developer (Solar & BESS)

Location: Wiesbaden, Germany (Hybrid: 4 days office, 1 day home office)

An established renewable energy developer is looking for a Project Developer to support the development of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Germany.

This is a hands-on project development role rather than a management position. The successful candidate will actively drive projects through the full development lifecycle and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring projects from early-stage development through to implementation.

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy project development
• Proven experience across the full project development lifecycle
• Experience with utility-scale solar and/or BESS projects
• Strong understanding of permitting, land acquisition and project execution processes
• Fluent German language skills
• Stable career history with demonstrated long-term commitment in previous roles
• Proactive, hands-on and self-driven approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects through all development phases
• Coordinate with landowners, authorities, consultants and internal teams
• Support permitting and project approval processes
• Drive project milestones and timelines
• Collaborate with technical, commercial and regulatory stakeholders

Please note: This is a hybrid role not a remote position. Candidates should be comfortable being in the office four days per week.
