Backed by deep industry expertise and an ambitious pipeline, this business is developing and delivering high‑quality wind, solar PV and battery storage projects that accelerate decarbonisation and create long‑term impact.

They’re now looking for a Senior Project Developer to play a central role in building and advancing projects across Italy, from early‑stage origination through to ready‑to‑build.

This is not a “sit behind the desk” development role. You’ll be hands‑on, commercially minded, and deeply embedded in the Italian renewables market, working with landowners, authorities, utilities, investors and technical teams to turn opportunity into reality.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the development of wind, solar PV and BESS projects from feasibility to permitting and ready‑to‑build
• Identifying, screening and prioritising new development and acquisition opportunities
• Managing commercial negotiations, joint ventures and strategic partnerships
• Coordinating internal teams (Engineering, Legal, Finance, Tax) and external advisors
• Working closely with local authorities, grid operators, landowners, offtakers and investors
• Preparing financial and business memoranda and supporting internal investment approvals
• Staying close to market trends, regulatory changes and emerging opportunities

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in renewable energy project development in Italy
• Strong understanding of the Italian regulatory and permitting framework for wind and solar
• Working knowledge of the Italian electricity system and grid connection processes
• A proactive, organized and detail‑oriented project manager
• Confident communicator who enjoys building long‑term relationships
