Your impact
We’re looking for an HSE Advisor to join our Energy & Power team, supporting a range of major infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Australia and New Zealand. At Jacobs, we value flexibility - this role can be based from any of our offices across Australia to best support your lifestyle and career.
This role will see you working closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture, provide hands-on support across project sites, and help ensure compliance with HSE standards and legislation. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in wind, solar and broader energy infrastructure, while continuing to develop your HSE capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) support to project teams across ANZ
- Support site activities including audits, inspections and safety walks
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, standards and client requirements
- Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
- Support development and improvement of HSE management plans and documentation
- Coach and mentor project teams on HSE practices and field work packs
- Contribute to a positive safety culture across projects and teams
- Background in HSE within construction, infrastructure, energy or heavy industrial projects (e.g. power generation, utilities
- Understanding of Australian HSE legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience with audits, inspections, safety management systems and permit-to-work processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in Health & Safety
- Work on major renewable energy and power infrastructure projects across APAC
