Your impact

Job Summary

Sustainability and Energy modeler should have work experience in HVAC system design calculation along with energy modelling work. Following is the brief skill requirement,

• The role includes leading energy modeling strategy, mentoring teams, driving client engagement, and delivering advanced simulation solutions
• Responsible for performing detailed building energy simulations and HVAC system analysis using IES VE and other tools.
• The role involves supporting sustainable building design, optimizing energy performance, and ensuring compliance with energy codes and green building standards (ASHRAE, ECBC, LEED).
• The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient design solutions aligned with client and project requirements.
• Should possess strong knowledge of HVAC system design, load calculations, and building physics.
• Able to work as an individual contributor and taking input from other disciplines at the different stage of the project.
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

Technical and Development

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute and having good work experience
• Working experience in IES VE (mandatory) for building energy modelling.
• IES software knowledge with all modules, such as ModelIT, Apache, ApHVAC, Vista Pro
• Having work experience in setup of proposed and baseline models as per standard compliance
• Ability to perform
• Whole building energy simulation
• Daylighting and thermal comfort analysis
• Ventilation and airflow studies
• Having work experience HVAC system design, load calculations, and equipment sizing.
• Experience in energy compliance modeling (ASHRAE 90.1, ECBC, LEED).
• Knowledge of psychometrics, heat transfer, and building envelope performance.
