Senior Product Manager - Grid Reliability Product Line Outcomes

Join us at Itron, Inc. as a Senior Product Manager for our Grid Reliability product line. In this global role, you will shape strategy, guide portfolio development, and build strong internal and external partnerships to advance solutions that improve outage performance, fault location, and prediction capabilities in Low and Medium Voltage distribution systems.

Success will be measured by adoption of highvalue solutions, growth in customer impact, and the recognition of Itron as a trusted facilitator in Grid Reliability outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Guide the global Grid Reliability product line strategy, ensuring adoption, customer success, and business growth.
  • Shape and evolve the solution roadmap, including ecosystem and partner engagement.
  • Work with crossfunctional teamsincluding Sales, R&D, Service Delivery, Marketing, and Networksto align strategies and deliver customer value.
  • Partner with utility customers, industry stakeholders, and solution partners to understand needs and cocreate solutions.
  • Promote Itrons Grid Reliability solutions at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Develop competitive positioning, market insights, and customer use cases that inform business selections.
  • Provide coaching and support to internal teams and partners, ensuring knowledge of product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Oversee product lifecycle activities, balancing solution tradeoffs to ensure customer satisfaction and portfolio performance.
  • Support portfolio prioritization and operational execution, aligning business cases and gotomarket plans.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, business development, or strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and positioning solutions for utilities or related regulated markets.
  • Background in distribution grid operations, ideally with diagnostics, fault prevention, or controlroom solutions.
  • Experience guiding adoption of integrated hardware, software, and managed services.
  • Ability to lead and inspire crossfunctional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business, regulatory, and technical factors.
  • Skilled communicatorcomfortable engaging with both technical teams and executive audiences.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning strategies across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • MBA (or equivalent education/experience) preferred.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Background in consultative solution selling and market development.
  • Familiarity with utility challenges, businesscase modeling, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with toptier management consulting or equivalent strategic roles.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary will be determined based on permissible, nondiscriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Salary ranges: Liberty Lake, WA $125,000$215,000 base; San Jose, CA $161,000$265,000 base. Eligible for annual bonus program. Comprehensive benefits include health, vision, dental, paid vacation, 401k, and stock participation.
