Director of Project Development

We're partnered with a leading DG IPP looking to add a Director of Development to their established team, as part of their mandate for continued pipeline growth and execution.

What You'll Do:

• Manage, mentor, and a help shape their growing project development team
• Lead full cycle development from origination to EPC handoff, owning strategy and execution for one of their key markets, including identification of new opportunities
• Oversee land campaigns, permitting, interconnection, and regulatory approvals processes
• Collaborate with internal teams, manage external consultants, and build and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, community stakeholders, and legislators

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of progressive renewables development experience, with a significant track record of success in DG development
• Experience managing junior developers in an achievements-driven environment
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects and own strategy for an assigned market/geography
• Familiarity (ideally hands-on experience) with Colorado's regulatory framework, interconnection process, and community solar programs
