Overview:

Inuka is working with an independent power producer (IPP) to recruit an E&S Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City. This role will lead environmental and social compliance across renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with local regulations, international ESG standards, and lender requirements throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead environmental and social compliance across renewable energy projects.
  • Oversee ESIA processes and implementation of environmental and social management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international lender standards.
  • Manage environmental and social risks, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, regulators, and project teams.
  • Support project development, construction, and operational compliance activities.


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in environmental and social management within energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Experience managing ESIAs and ESG compliance for large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of international standards (e.g. IFC Performance Standards or Equator Principles) is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in English; Vietnamese is advantageous.
