Role Overview
As a Research Intern, Sustainable Finance you will play an active role in shaping IISF’s thought leadership and global knowledge outreach.
You’ll contribute to research driven articles, sustainability insights, and reports that advance the understanding and practice of sustainable finance worldwide.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain global exposure, develop your expertise in sustainability and finance, and see your work published under the IISF banner, recognised internationally across academia, industry, and policy networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in depth research on sustainability, ESG, climate finance, impact investing, and related global topics.
- Develop short articles, research briefs, and thought pieces for publication across IISF’s digital platforms.
- Support the content and editorial team in creating engaging educational and awareness materials.
- Analyze emerging trends, frameworks, and policies shaping the sustainability and finance landscape.
- Collaborate with experts and editors to ensure clarity, accuracy, and global relevance of content.

- Students or recent graduates in Sustainability, Finance, Economics, Business, Environmental Policy, International Development, or related disciplines.
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into accessible content.
