Role Overview
Integra Energy is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Albany, NY. This full-time, on-site role will work closely with the Project Manager in overseeing the installation of high-tech EV charging infrastructure. You will assist with the execution of EV charging station projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, are completed on time, and remain within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the rapid growth of a cutting-edge industry.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing multiple EV charging station installation projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Submit and track Make Ready applications for EV charging station installations with utility companies, ensuring timely approvals, accurate documentation, and compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Help develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, municipalities, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and assist in resolving any obstacles that may affect timelines or quality.
  • Help maintain up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and contracts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, construction, operations) to ensure efficient installation of projects.
  • Participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager in motivating and supporting the project team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
 
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, management, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure projects and knowledge of construction processes and regulatory standards for EV charging installations is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to support fast-moving, high-tech projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Jira, etc.) is desirable.
  • Interest in the electric vehicle industry or energy efficiency projects is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with funding options or grant-writing experience is a plus but not required.
