INTEC Energy Solutions is a global EPC and O&M company delivering turnkey solutions across utility-scale solar power plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). With more than 5GW of secured pipeline and delivered projects worldwide, INTEC is a recognised leader in the renewable energy sector, supporting the delivery of some of the most exciting clean energy projects across Australia and New Zealand.
With a rapidly expanding project pipeline across Australia and New Zealand, we are continuing to build our technical delivery capability in the region. We are now looking for an experienced Connections and Commissioning Manager to play a critical role in delivering our next generation of utility-scale renewable energy projects in New Zealand.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Grid Connection Manager, you will coordinate the connection and commissioning workstream from project execution through to energisation, performance testing and commercial operation.
You will work across engineering, construction and project teams while coordinating directly with Transpower, Electricity Distribution Businesses, clients, OEMs, consultants and contractors.
This is a highly visible role where your technical judgement will directly influence whether a project is ready to connect, energise and operate.
What You'll Do
We are looking for someone who understands what it takes to move a major power project from connection strategy to a successfully energised and operational asset.
You could come from a background in grid connection, power systems, transmission, generation, renewable energy, HV commissioning or electrical infrastructure. Direct solar experience is valuable, but your understanding of the New Zealand electricity network and your ability to coordinate complex technical interfaces are more important.
