Insulation Crew Leader (Crew Chief)

Insulation Commandos of Denton-Tarrant is seeking a top performing insulation crew leader (Crew Chief) to lead a team of technicians in the field. We are looking for a true leader who has expert insulation experience to give a top-level work experience to their team, while providing top-tier customer experience to homeowners, commercial property owners, and contractors.

You will provide insulation removal, installation (various types), as well as performing air sealing, radiant barrier, rodent mitigation when needed, and other insulation-related tasks. You will also perform service as needed to existing customers to ensure 100% client satisfaction. You will be a leader in representing our professional brand by improving energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in residential and commercial buildings.

Duties include:

· Team Leadership: Lead your crew members to ensure smooth project execution.

· Innovation: When there is a way to do it better, lead by example and take charge.

· Insulation Installation: Install various types of insulation in attics, walls, crawl space according to project specifications.

· Insulation Removal: Safely remove old or damaged insulation from existing structures while minimizing damage to the building's structure.

· Air Sealing: Identify and seal air leaks in buildings to improve energy efficiency and maintain indoor comfort.

· Radiant Barrier Installation: Install radiant barriers to improve energy efficiency by reflecting heat away from living spaces.

· Rodent Mitigation: Seal openings and gaps in walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent rodents and pests from entering insulated spaces.

· Material Handling: Transport insulation materials to job sites and ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.

· Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of insulation materials. Lead your crew to ensure safety first at all times.

· Recruit and Train: Recruit and train your crew members to go above and beyond for 100% satisfaction.

· Quality Control: Ensure that insulation installation exceeds quality standards and follows industry best practices.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues or concerns encountered.

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in insulation installation.

· Previous experience in construction, drywall, painting, masonry, or related field preferred.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites.

· Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

· Ability to delegate tasks to your crew.

· Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines.

· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

· Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as required.

· Communicate clearly and effectively with clients when it comes to project scope and expectations.

· Extended durations of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.

· Possess the physical fitness and stamina required to perform physically demanding tasks.
