- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience working within automotive industry in manufacturing environment
- Leading a launch/execution project, specifically with automation installation
- Experience with Plant Floor Layouts
Insight Global is seeking a Crank Execution Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, and launch of crankshaft and rotating assembly processes in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This individual will play a hands-on role on the plant floor, driving daily execution in alignment with production and launch priorities. The engineer will partner with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to oversee equipment installation, resolve integration issues, and ensure systems are installed and operational per program timelines. They will also lead equipment through the plant’s G-compliant safety process, securing red/yellow tag approvals and ensuring all pre-power-on and operator readiness requirements are completed. Additionally, this individual will support equipment qualification, analyze process data to confirm capability and PPAP readiness, and lead issue resolution and process optimization during production ramp to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
