Facilities Manager
Overview:
A large commercial banking organization is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-profile office facility. This role owns full site operations, including staff leadership, financial management, vendor coordination, and client-facing communication. The Facilities Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the client and ensures the facility operates efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of a commercial office facility, including all building systems and site activities
- Lead and support on-site staff including building engineers and a workplace coordinator
- Own the full facilities budget lifecycle, including CapEx and OpEx planning, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting
- Maintain financial accuracy and reporting within Yardi or similar financial management systems
- Coordinate bid packages, support procurement efforts, and assist with in-house project delivery
- Present project scopes, budgets, and timelines to internal stakeholders for approval
- Act as the primary client contact, ensuring expectations are met and contract scope is upheld
- Oversee vendors, service providers, and compliance with safety and operational standards
- Ensure the facility and surrounding grounds are operating effectively at all times
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of commercial facilities management experience
- Experience managing engineers and on-site staff in a commercial environment
- Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Experience working with Yardi or similar facilities/financial management platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with strong ownership of site operations

- Experience presenting to and communicating with senior leadership
- Engineering or technical background supporting project oversight
- Certifications such as EPA, CFC, or similar
