Administrative Processor
Job Title: Administrative Processor I – NEM Client: Pacific Gas & Electric Location:
On-site, San Ramon, CA Hybrid 2x onsite
Contract Length: 12 months rolling
Job Summary This role supports PG&E’s mission to promote renewable energy through solar and electric vehicle initiatives. The team is responsible for processing customer applications to connect their energy generation systems to the electric grid. Duties vary based on project scope and assigned role.
Responsibilities
Application Review
- Invoice customers
- Review application documents, building permits, and equipment information
- Detect and submit defects, or forward clean applications for engineering review
- Respond to customer emails regarding defects, status, and delays
- Analyze project issues and determine solutions
- Help develop internal documentation such as job aids and process charts
Engineering Review
- Coordinate with Distribution Planning to assess grid impacts
- Use mapping tools to evaluate transformer capacity
- Follow up with installers based on engineering feedback
- Communicate project updates to customers
Meter/Variance Review
- Collaborate with Metering Engineers
- Check installation plans and verify interconnection methods
- Communicate with customers regarding defects and project updates
Field Metering Review
- Schedule inspections and coordinate meter work
- Submit field verification requests
- Update customer records in SAP
- Relay inspection results to installers and partners
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 5 years of experience in administration or document processing
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Technical proficiency with systems such as Salesforce, Smartsheets, or customer platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Collaborative and analytical mindset
- Effective problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PG&E experience
- Familiarity with SAP
