Senior Project Manager
Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Registered Architect (RA) certification in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale A/E or design-build contracts, preferably within the Department of Defense (DoD) / Air force
• Proven track record of leading complex IDIQ or multi-task order contracts, ideally valued at $500M or more.
• Strong expertise in project delivery, resource and budget management, quality control, and team leadership, they will be managing a team of 8+ professional personnel
• Experience managing joint venture operations, mentor-protégé partnerships, and coordinating with multiple subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of federal contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, UFC, and other DoD standards.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Plusses:
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential.
• Prior military service or direct experience working with NAVFAC, USACE, AFCEC, or other DoD engineering organizations.
• Active duty or Reserve tour at AFCEC or USACE is highly desirable
• Current or past membership in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is a plus

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead client services and operational coordination for a $1B, 10-year nationwide Architect-Engineer (A/E) IDIQ contract supporting the Department of Defense. This role is pivotal in managing high-impact projects, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring excellence in delivery across a diverse portfolio.
- Proposal Development & Strategic Growth
- Drive competitive proposal strategies, pricing, and execution planning. Identify new opportunities within the Air Force and other federal agencies to expand contract scope.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to FAR, DoD standards, and company policies. Monitor project performance, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent projects. Facilitate transparent communication among clients, teams, and leadership.
