Project Manager
Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Richmond, VA. The Project Manager will lead cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver manufacturing and technical projects on time and within budget. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, cost, and resources while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction remain top priorities. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of coordination between engineering, supply chain, operations, and commercial stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle. This is a fully onsite role based at a Richmond service center, with standard working hours Monday–Friday and flexibility for additional hours or weekend support as needed.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of manufacturing or project management experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management and/or Materials Planning or Execution
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources
- Revenue and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, shop floor)
- Experience coordinating with vendors to ensure on‑time delivery of materials and services
- Strong understanding of project execution in a manufacturing or technical environment
Plusses
- Bachelors of Science degree
- Formal Project Management experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, procedures, and technical specifications
- Understanding of project planning and shop‑floor scheduling
- Experience managing complex, technical projects
- Basic financial knowledge with hands‑on budget management experience
- Experience working with sales, engineering, supply chain, operations, and customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence, motivate, and lead project teams
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Customer‑focused mindset (internal and external)
Compensation:
$60/hr to $62.97/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
