Title: Design Program Manager

Location: On-site in Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $45-50/hr

Duration: 12-30 month contract

Required Skills & Experience

● 2+ years experience working in a similar capacity required - Producer, Project Manager, DPC

● Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with grace and confidence

● Ability to keep the big picture in mind, yet balance several detailed projects

● Track record of being detail-oriented, willing to wear multiple hats, identifying areas for

improvement/support and delivering results in a highly organized manner

● Strong computer and internet / office skills required including tools like DropBox, Quip, Google

Drive.

● Experience working with product designers, researchers, content strategists, and product team is

beneficial

● Design, agency, and start-up experience is beneficial

● Bachelor's degree required

Job Description

● Maintain and run established design operations.

● Work across Design team, Researchers, Product Management, Engineering, Data

Science, etc

● Be the eyes and ears of the DPM and DPC to identify opportunities for programs to run more

smoothly.

● Own project execution to enable product teams to deliver a high quality product experience.

Support the operations of our product team by providing logistical support for:

○ Meetings: Scheduling, meeting documentation and capturing key takeaways, share-out

learnings.

○ Tasks management: Maintain team Tasks board (similar to Jira), ensuring tasks are

updated and board is groomed regularly.

○ Run SCRUM: Conduct weekly SCRUM meetings with the design team to review tasks in

progress, blockers, and backlog items.

○ Weekly Update: Ensure designers update Weekly Design Update, used to communicate

key items that have landed over the past week.

○ Communications: Ensuring that we are delivering the right communications at the right

time to our partner teams and other stakeholders, and we are tracking towards meeting

our defined communication goals.

○ Ad Hoc: Sprint, Summit, Event planning and additional ad hoc project support as needed.

○ Onboarding logistics: Support and add new team members to Dropbox, Chat threads,

Quip, etc.

○ Design Ops Support: Partner with DPC and DPM on team in supporting design ops initiatives.
