Project Manager
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager (FACTS) to support large‑scale EPC electrical transmission and decarbonization initiatives. This individual will act as the driving force behind project execution—owning customer relationships, managing schedules and costs, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact energy infrastructure projects. This is a 12‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity offering long‑term growth, exposure to complex EPC programs, and the chance to support cutting‑edge energy‑transition efforts.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact for EPC FACTS projects
- Lead execution of turnkey electrical infrastructure projects from order handover through warranty transition
- Manage project schedules, costs, risks, and financial margins
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement, and Site Management teams
- Track, negotiate, and close change orders to improve project profitability
- Establish accountability with subcontractors and vendors
- Support complex project strategies, claims resolution, and execution challenges
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Project Management or related field
- 6+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience in EPC construction management or similar execution‑focused environments
- Background in electrical grid infrastructure projects (transmission, substations, power)
- Strong customer‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and project margins
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting decarbonization, renewable, or energy‑transition initiatives
- Prior Siemens Energy or large utility / OEM experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and complex claims/change orders
- Strong cross‑functional coordination with Engineering, Procurement, and Site teams
Compensation:
$60-80/hourly
