Construction Project Manager

Location: Miami, FL

Compensation: $60/hr W2

Duration: Long Term Ongoing Contract

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager with experience managing, administering, and inspecting civil infrastructure projects for municipalities and/or FDOT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve field changes
  • Respond to RFIs
  • Review shop drawings
  • Oversee material acceptance and approvals
  • Coordinate project schedules and budgets
  • Prepare job cost reports
  • Provide safety oversight, including traffic control compliance
  • Manage project closeout activities

Preferred Project Experience

  • Roadway reconstruction, milling, and resurfacing
  • Stormwater and drainage systems
  • Pump stations
  • Bridge projects
  • Utility coordination
  • Compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and permitting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Traffic Control Certification
  • Working knowledge of e-Builder
  • Experience supporting grant-funded projects

Day-to-Day This role oversees active construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and traffic control requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders, resolving field issues and RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, monitoring material quality, tracking schedules and budgets, preparing project documentation, and supporting project closeout efforts through punch lists, final inspections, and documentation reviews.
