Position: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Melbourne/Space Coast, FL

Salary: $75k-110k (Based off experience)

Role Overview

Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support an electrical construction project in the Space Coast market. This is a developmental opportunity designed to train the APM to eventually become a Project Manager.

Must-Haves

  • Preferred four-year degree in construction management or a related field
  • Four or more years of electrical experience preferred
  • Open to a combination of relevant education and hands-on electrical construction experience
  • Strong software and technology skills
  • Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Bluebeam
  • Microsoft tools/platform
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn new processes
  • Interest in developing into a Project Manager
  • Must pass required background screening

Project Scope

  • Supports one project at a time
  • Assigned to the newly awarded Space Coast project
  • Works from the jobsite five days per week rather than reporting to an office
  • Project is currently primarily within the planning cycle
  • Helps with project documentation, coordination, software, communication, and administrative project support
  • Does not initially own project budgeting or forecasting
  • Will be trained on this companies PM responsibilities and processes
