Insight Global is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join a leading industrial construction organization on a full-time, permanent basis in Lebanon, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong industrial construction background and previous structural steel project experience who enjoys supporting field operations, driving project execution, and collaborating closely with construction teams.

Location: Lebanon, IN (Onsite)

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Salary: Up to $104,000 annual base + $175/day per diem

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Installation Work Packages (IWPs) to support field execution
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, field leadership, project controls, and subcontractors
  • Manage construction drawings, specifications, revisions, and project documentation
  • Generate and track RFIs
  • Support pull-planning meetings and field coordination activities
  • Monitor labor hours, production quantities, and project progress
  • Maintain daily reports and field documentation
  • Assist with subcontractor coordination and issue resolution
  • Support change management and additional scope tracking efforts

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Construction Engineer
  • Strong industrial construction experience
  • Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining Installation Work Packages (IWPs)
  • Previous experience supporting structural steel construction projects
  • Experience with RFIs, document control, field reporting, and progress tracking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing, industrial, power, chemical, semiconductor, or data center projects
  • Strong construction planning and pull-planning experience
  • Experience supporting multiple contracts and change management initiatives
  • Previous experience working with self-perform contractors
