Job Description
This Project Manager will support our utility client’s Resiliency Project Management team, overseeing a portfolio of projects ranging from $50M–$75M across Southwest Louisiana (Jennings to the Texas border) and Texas. This role will manage projects across multiple phases of the lifecycle, with a primary focus on execution and closeout, ensuring alignment with internal commitments and regulatory requirements. This individual will own monthly financial forecasting for assigned projects and will be expected to maintain accuracy within a 1–3% variance. They will proactively identify risks, validate financials, and drive change orders to ensure projects remain on track. The Project Manager will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external engineering and construction vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager will develop and execute the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and will be responsible for leveraging tools such as Maximo and Cura to track performance, maintain data integrity, and support execution plans. This role will oversee distribution engineering and construction projects and requires occasional travel (approximately 10%) to project sites and partner meetings. Ideally, this candidate is based in or near Lake Charles, Louisiana, but must be comfortable with light travel. This is a high-accountability position with a strong emphasis on forecasting accuracy and delivery performance, offering long-term, full-time support within a growing resiliency program.
Compensation:
$45/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
