Position: Project Engineer

Location: 1555 S Harding St., Indianapolis

Duration: 1.5 year contract with extensions!

Pay Rate: $30-60/hr DOE

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automation, or related Engineering discipline
  • 1-5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, automation, warehouse operations, logistics, or industrial systems
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset
  • Experience supporting engineering projects or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to learn quickly in a highly automated environment

Plusses:

  • Exposure to Rockwell PLCs
  • Automation or controls experience
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • SCADA or Ignition experience
  • AGV or ASRS exposure
  • Warehouse logistics, distribution center, or manufacturing experience
  • Validation or CQV support experience

  • Our largest pharmaceutical client is seeking a Project Engineer to support a large-scale warehouse modernization initiative involving automation upgrades, AGV expansion, RFID implementation, ASRS enhancements, and material flow improvements. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience with warehouse automation systems while working alongside senior engineering and operational leaders. The engineer will support projects that directly impact manufacturing operations by ensuring raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods move efficiently throughout the warehouse ecosystem.
