Plant Integration Site Lead – Solar & Battery Storage Projects Location: Eastern Carolinas (Hybrid/Field-Based) Schedule: Full-time, 4x10s (Monday–Thursday) Travel: Worksite Flexibility: May sit at various regional facilities as needed This role is responsible for leading integration activities to ensure operational readiness for new solar and battery storage facilities. From conceptual planning through to commissioning and turnover, the Plant Integration Site Lead ensures seamless transition of assets to operations. The role serves as the primary liaison between construction, commissioning, and the operations team. Serve as the primary operations representative throughout design, construction, and commissioning phases of solar and battery storage projects. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and smooth transition to commercial operation. Participate in site visits and inspections to verify project quality and readiness. Witness equipment inspections and circuit verifications prior to site turnover. Support staffing and onboarding plans for new facilities, including participating in hiring processes as needed. Implement integration protocols and procedures to ensure successful handover to operations. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to address training, documentation, preventive maintenance, tooling, and spare parts needs. Ensure team activities and training align with project schedules. Work with database administrators and spare parts planners to maintain alignment with project timelines and inventory strategies. Manage project integration budgets and report financial updates to leadership. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8+ years of related experience ~3–5 years of plant operations experience, including major projects Degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management Experience in solar or battery storage operations Prior experience as a Plant Integration Site Lead Strong project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with construction management, scheduling, and cost controls Utility or energy services experience (regulated or commercial)
