Project Manager – Outside Plant (OSP) Construction
We’re looking for a highly organized, communication‑driven Project Manager to support our Outside Plant (OSP) construction projects. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with operational goals. What You’ll Do
- Lead pre‑construction and kick‑off meetings, provide updates, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- Track project progress across all phases and ensure visibility of outstanding, pending, and completed tasks
- Drive schedules, coordinate activities, and keep milestones on track
- Manage material coordination to support project start dates
- Participate in weekly cross‑department status meetings for large projects
- Communicate start and completion timelines to clients and internal teams
- Monitor job costs, productivity, billing, and closeout activities
- Oversee project deliverables, including as‑builts, documentation, and test results
- Support additional project‑related tasks as needed
What You’ll Manage
- A portfolio of 60–80 active projects within a shared PM structure
- Workload distribution between two Project Managers (in‑house vs. outsourced projects)
- Large‑scale construction efforts and new development initiatives
- Projects spanning up to 120 miles, involving internal crews and external contractors
Who You Are
- A strong communicator who keeps teams aligned and informed
- Highly organized with the ability to manage high‑volume, fast‑moving workloads
- Comfortable coordinating across multiple departments and external partners
- Experienced in construction, telecom, utilities, or similar project environments (preferred)
Compensation:
$30.00/hr to $36.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
