Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to lead machinery projects in Dallas, TX —from pre-sales and design through to commissioning and customer handover.

This role ensures projects are executed on time, within scope, Budget, and in accordance with technical and regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Review and reconcile technical documentation and approval drawings.
  • Prepare and distribute installation manuals, schematics, and layouts.
  • Handle change orders and project updates.
  • Serve as primary client contact; provide installation quotes and confirm site readiness.
  • Lead status meetings and maintain stakeholder communication.
  • Oversee machinery testing, FAT/SAT, and logistics hand-off.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and industry standards.
  • Align commissioning schedules with service teams and customers.
  • Maintain Gantt charts, RFQs, budgets, and correspondence.
  • Track project risks, resolve issues, and document progress.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4-year degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in food processing or industrial machinery manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering designs and technical drawings.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience using ECI M1 Project Management module is preferred.
  • PMP certification or other formal project management certification is preferred.
