Day to day:

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and clients as primary point of contact.
  • Review advanced engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
  • Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.
  • Participates in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide other marketing and business development support.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new work with existing and potential clients.
  • Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors’ approval.
  • Responsible for meeting predetermined goals on productivity targets and financial aspects of projects including profit, unbilled, accounts receivable, and direct the Project Accounting team on project invoicing.
  • Manage a maximum of 4 direct reports.

Must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
  • 10+ years in a project management position (preferably related to engineering & architecture)
  • 5+ years of telecommunications experience is required (preferably with architecture & engineering knowledge).
  • Valid driver's license required to complete site visits as needed.
  • MVR will be checked and monitored.
  • Intermediate level of understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of RFDs, structural, zoning and construction drawings, in addition to a strong understanding of the assembly of telecom plans.
  • Requires a pre-employment drug screen.

Preferences:

  • PE license is preferred.
