Job Description
A fortune 50 company is looking to build out a PMO for executive level business transformations in the retail space. The Professional Project Managers will be tied to an executive within one of the following verticals: Merchandising, Marketing, Finance/Accounting, Retail/Store Operations, Human Resources or Real Estate and be tasked to manage executive level workstreams. These tasks will include attending meetings with cross functional leaders to gain business insights, administrative updates for the executive they are tied to, managing business workflow in smart sheets and running with the business analytics behind the implemented changes long term. The identified PMPs will be joining a team of five others already engaged in the program and are looking for expertise in the vertical listed above that our team's bandwidth is current lacking. They will be working with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive timelines on business deliverable updates. An active PMP is required for this long-term contract opportunity, and the PMO is tied to the Director of Sourcing Transformation. This role can be performed fully remote with minimal travel to the HQ located in Southeast, OH. Other nice to have tools will be Smartsheet, Excel, Teams and Vizio to help drive project schedules and meeting coordination.
