Documentation Specialist
***must sit in Charlotte, NC! Looking for someone eager to grow + collaborate in a team environment!***
Location: Charlotte – Hybrid (in office 3 days a week)
Pay: $20/hour
Duration: Contract through end of year (extensions and conversion highly likely)
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university
- Data entry experience and other payroll related activities in an automated multi-state payroll environment
- Experience reviewing documents and pulling key information/creating a summary
- Focused as the volume of work will increase during peak times
- Express a good personality, communication, and work ethic – want candidates with a willingness to learn
- Client engagement/customer service experience (they will be communicating with internal sales teams and some external clients via phone, email, chat, and in person interactions)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office – especially excel
- Transferrable skillsets: customer service, data entry, multi-tasking, working with dual monitors
Day to Day:
This role is part of a team that manages and maximizes TV commercial schedules for major national consumer brands and political candidates and plays a key role in assuring successful client ad campaigns. This position requires strong communication skills, prioritization, and attention to detail, in a fast-paced media sales environment.
- Manage financial documents and ensure accurate invoice processing
- Prepare and approve invoices, calculate fees, and maintain billing records using accounting software
- Generate income projections and reports for leadership; audit customer accounts and issue statements
- Apply strong accounting and financial analysis skills while working independently and following organizational standards
- Maintain organization across multiple client accounts
- Communicate billing concepts clearly to clients and non-financial colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
