Assistant Project Manager
An Entertainment Client of Insight Global is looking for a Financial Project Coordinator to join their team. The goal of this position is to provide operational support for a post-production engineering group within a major studio. It serves to support the director and senior leadership of this group(which is heavily unionized).
Note: This is a 12 month contract and on site 4x a week
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a technology project management/coordination
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools: SmartSheet, MS Teams, PowerPoint or similar software
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ideal experience in the following areas: past coordination experience to help consolidate ordering and purchasing
- Budget tracking and coordination
- Ordering supplies and facilities related responsibilities
- Experience/understanding of capital budget and expenses
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement cycle from forecast to project to purchasing to inventory to project engineer in conjunction with responsible managers
- Facilitates the annual maintenance contract process, including inventory to renewal validation and payment
- Coordinates fiscal planning with Project and Program Management tracked initiatives
- Coordinates with Change Management interface between Change processes and engineering teams for maintenance windows, including the articulation of change details and impacts, and negotiating windows with client groups
- Performs contract administration for SoWs associated with projects and with managed service contractor workforce
- Facilitate the acquisition of equipment or software with casual buyer
- Coordinate team projects or other gatherings
Compensation :
$51.90/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
