Mechanical Project Manager

Title: Mechanical Construction Project Manager

Projects: Large Commercial (Semiconductor facilities, data centers, healthcare, etc.)

Location: Boise, ID (once the project in Boise wraps after ~12 months, we're looking for someone to relocate and/or frequently travel to upstate New York to support projects there long-term.)

Salary: $135,000

Other: Per diem and relocation assistance offered

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, process piping)
• Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects (semiconductor, data center, biopharm, hospital, or similar)
• Strong project management experience (submittals, RFIs, schedules, scope, and budget tracking)
• Experience using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 (preferred but strong scheduling exposure required)
• Ability to work onsite in Boise and travel/relocate as the project transitions to New York

Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical scopes on a large-scale semiconductor construction project
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and daily field activities
• Handle submittals, RFIs, change management, and schedule updates
• Monitor project scope, budget, and timelines; address changes as needed
• Collaborate closely with field leadership, clients, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality installation practices
• Use project management software and Excel to track progress and reporting
• Participate in early onboarding and training on DSI-specific systems prior to full project mobilization
