Treasury Analyst
The Treasury Analyst III plays a critical role in managing the organization’s cash flow, banking structure, and treasury operations. This position is responsible for analyzing financial records, forecasting future financial positions, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies while supporting strategic and operational treasury initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow Management:
- Review and analyze all operational cash flows to ensure liquidity and optimize cash utilization.
- Support the cash forecasting process across all business segments.
- Financial Analysis & Planning:
- Analyze financial records to forecast future financial positions and budget requirements.
- Advise management on investments and loans for short- and long-term financial plans.
- Treasury Operations:
- Oversee daily administration of bank accounts, investments, and debt obligations, including funding and disbursement activities.
- Establish, open, close, and novate bank accounts as required.
- Ensure accurate operation of treasury systems and supporting schedules.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and proper documentation for all treasury transactions.
- Banking & Compliance:
- Maintain an efficient banking structure to support organizational operations.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures for all cash desk operations.
- Understand and manage KYC (Know Your Customer) daily operations and workflows.
- Reporting & Auditing:
- Prepare standard reporting of accounts and balances, including year-end investment activity for annual reporting.
- Reconcile daily and month-end schedules and statements.
- Maintain internal auditing practices and recommend process improvements.
- Strategic Support:
- Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation of treasury procedures.
- Support capital markets activities and other Treasury Department projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in treasury operations or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, banking systems, and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with KYC processes and compliance requirements.
Compensation:
$50/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
