Mechanical Project Manager
Must Have:
- 3-4+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Mechanical expertise & background
- Large scale commercial project experience (healthcare/hospitals, data center, pharma, semiconductor, etc.)
- Skill in project management monitoring, in addressing changes in scope and budget, and in the use of a computer and applicable software
- High School Diploma or equivalent, and completion of two year Business or Technical Degree
Plusses:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Engineering, Construction Science, or Business, required.
- At least 5 years of related experience in HVAC, Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, and Process Piping.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization and ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the timelines set forth in the contract.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads a team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Compensation:
$120,000 to $135,000/yr
