  • Manage 1-week sprint cycles + Kanban workflows in Azure DevOps
  • Oversee a 4-person development team, ensuring progress and accountability
  • Build and execute test plans to ensure quality for new features and releases
  • Run Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming
  • Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies and escalate appropriately
  • Coordinate delivery of new features, enhancements, and client implementations
  • Ensure releases meet QA standards before deployment
  • Provide regular updates to IT leadership and CTO

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management and/or QA leadership
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master / Agile lead (running ceremonies, managing sprints)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (backlog, sprint boards, ticket tracking)
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate into technical deliverables
  • Strong QA ownership (test plans, UAT, regression testing, release validation)
  • Experience overseeing small development teams (4–5 engineers)
  • Strong communication skills – able to interface with business stakeholders and report to executive leadership (CTO)
  • Experience working in Agile/Kanban hybrid environments

Plusses:

  • Experience in client implementations or customer-facing product delivery
  • Background in both project management and QA/test leadership
  • Experience stepping into “stop-gap” / stabilization roles
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data validation
  • Experience coordinating release management and production deployments
  • PMP certification
