Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager II to support a growing engineering-driven manufacturing and technology company in Arden Hills, MN. This organization specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced electronic control systems, microprocessor-based technologies, and burn-in/test platforms for high-power electronics. Their solutions are used across industrial and commercial environments where performance, reliability, and precision are critical - particularly in applications that require long-duration testing, thermal stability, and precise control of high-power components. The company is known for developing highly reliable, performance-driven systems that seamlessly integrate hardware, firmware, and software into cohesive, scalable platforms capable of operating in demanding conditions. This Project Manager II will play a key role in supporting multi-million dollar new product development (NPD) programs from concept through production. Working closely with a Senior Project Manager and cross-functional engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, and software), this individual will help drive alignment, execution, and communication across complex hardware development efforts. The role is heavily focused on NPD initiatives (approximately 75-100%), with some support for sustaining product work as needed. Day to day, this individual will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple concurrent programs ranging from $2M–$10M in size. They will drive structured phase-gate and design review processes, ensure clear communication across stakeholders, and help formalize PMO processes as the organization continues to mature.
