Position Overview


INNOVA is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing technical team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced HVAC and heat pump systems, including PTACs, VRF systems, fan coils, water-source heat pumps, and all-in-one climate solutions.


This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong diagnostic skills, a passion for innovative HVAC technology, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer support in the field.


Responsibilities


  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and mechanical system issues
  • Support installation and servicing of advanced INNOVA product lines including heat pumps, PTACs, fan coils, and water-source systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system performance testing.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Complete service documentation and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Support field training, product demonstrations, and technical service calls as required.


What We Are Looking For


  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC/R installation and service experience.
  • Strong understanding of inverter or variable-speed systems.
  • Experience with commercial HVAC systems preferred.
  • EPA certification required.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with modern HVAC technologies and smart control systems is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for service and training support.
