Investment Associate, Energy Transition — New York City

A well established global alternative investment platform is hiring an Investment Associate for its Energy Transition team. The team has deployed over $3.5bn across equity and debt in solar, storage, wind, and infrastructure credit, and runs lean deal teams where associates get real exposure from day one, not just model updates.

This is a seat for someone who wants to move from advising deals to actually investing in them.

What you'll do

Build and own the financial models behind new and existing investments. Draft investment committee memos. Run due diligence from screening through closing. Work directly with senior investment professionals on acquisitions, financings, and debt raises, partnering with sellside and buyside bankers along the way.

What they're looking for

1 to 6 years in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or credit, ideally with exposure to power, infrastructure, or renewables. Strong modeling skills and a sharp analytical mind. Someone who wants a long term investing career, not just an exit from banking.
