Investment Associate / VP

A leading renewable energy investment platform is looking to hire an Associate / Junior VP to join its growing investment team in Munich.

The team invests across renewable energy and energy transition assets, including onshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage and adjacent sustainable infrastructure. Working as part of a lean, entrepreneurial team, you'll gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle, supporting acquisitions, greenfield developments and platform investments across Germany and Poland.

Key responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure
• Lead financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis for acquisitions and developments
• Support transaction execution, including due diligence, deal structuring and negotiations
• Prepare investment committee papers, presentations and investment recommendations
• Work closely with technical, development and fund management teams throughout the investment process
• Support competitive tenders and bilateral M&A transactions

Requirements:

• 2–7 years' experience in investment banking, infrastructure investing or private equity
• Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, energy transition or project finance is preferred
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Experience working on M&A, infrastructure or project finance transactions
• Fluent German
• Commercial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
