Want to join the movement? You can help us solve the most urgent, important challenge facing the world today (and have fun doing it).

The Role

Impossible Foods is at a pivotal moment in its journey, evolving from a single-category plant-based brand into a broader, protein-first food company focused on taste, convenience, protein density, and capital efficiency. To support this transformation, we are building a disciplined, lean corporate development capability to accelerate strategic growth initiatives, partnerships, and inorganic opportunities.

The Senior Manager, Corporate Development (Execution & Integration) will play a critical, hands-on role in executing transactions, coordinating diligence, and leading post-close integration efforts. This is a highly execution-focused role, requiring a deal operator who can source targets, underwrite businesses with imperfect data, negotiate creative structures, and drive integration with minimal cash and internal resources.

This position is not responsible for defining corporate development strategy or capital allocation but will operate within a clearly defined strategic, governance, and decision-making framework led by senior leadership.

  • Lead the execution of corporate development transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic investments, aligned with defined strategic priorities.

  • Manage transaction timelines, data rooms, advisors, and internal workstreams.
  • Prepare executive- and Board-level materials with clear analyses and actionable recommendations.

Deal Structuring & Negotiation

  • Support deal structuring discussions, risk assessment, and transaction design in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Assist with negotiation and execution of LOIs, term sheets, and definitive agreements, with documentation ownership retained by senior leadership and Legal.
  • Partner closely with Finance on investment economics, capital constraints, and integration assumptions.

Integration Planning & Execution

  • Lead post-signing integration efforts, ensuring alignment with the agreed integration strategy.
  • Develop detailed integration workplans, milestones, and accountability frameworks.
  • Coordinate integration activities across functional teams and track progress post-close.
  • Identify execution risks, dependencies, and integration challenges early, escalating as needed.
  • Drive early value creation through cost actions, supply chain optimization, manufacturing leverage, and product rationalization.

Pipeline Development & Market Intelligence

  • Support the development and maintenance of a prioritized corporate development pipeline.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and landscape mapping.
  • Assist with outbound sourcing efforts targeting:

○ High-protein ready-to-eat meals, snacks, breakfast, and prepared foods.
