We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Corporate Trainer to design and deliver a Carbon Footprint & Climate Change Management training programme for a leading manufacturing organization in Sri Lanka.
- Design and deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions on Carbon Footprint and Climate Change Management.
- Customize training content to suit manufacturing and industrial operations.
- Explain carbon accounting concepts using practical industry examples.
- Conduct hands-on workshops on Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
- Guide participants in developing carbon inventories and reduction strategies.
- Facilitate discussions, case studies, and group activities.
- Prepare training materials, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Provide recommendations aligned with international sustainability standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Energy Management, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sustainability, environmental management, ESG, carbon management, or climate change.
- Experience conducting corporate training or facilitating professional workshops.
- Strong understanding of:
- GHG Protocol
- Carbon Footprint Assessment
- Scope 1, Scope 2 & Scope 3 Emissions
- ISO 14064
- Climate Change Mitigation
- ESG and Sustainability Reporting
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for carbon calculations.
Candidates with one or more of the following will have a distinct advantage:
- ISO 14064 Lead Implementer or Lead Verifier
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
- GRI Sustainability Reporting certification
- Experience in textile, apparel, manufacturing, FMCG, or export-oriented industries
- Experience conducting carbon footprint assessments or decarbonization projects
