K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S:

Strategy Development & Market Leadership

• Lead the strategy and execution roadmap for IIX’s ESG & Impact Advisory business for Corporates, including P&L ownership of a new revenue-generating business unit.

• Drive business development and revenue growth across key markets: Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.

• Leverage personal networks to initiate and secure corporate partnerships and long-term sustainability mandates.

• Develop integrated advisory solutions that combine Orange Bond readiness, impact measurement, and ESG strategy.


Corporate SDG Strategy & Sustainable Finance

• Translate corporate ESG and sustainability commitments into measurable SDG-aligned actions.

• Design innovative financing mechanisms such as sustainability-linked loans, supplier financing programs, and outcome-based grants.

• Prepare clients for emerging ESG, climate, and sustainability reporting standards across the region.


Supply Chain ESG & Orange Seal™ Program


• Conduct deep-dive Tier 1–3 supply chain diagnostics covering gender parity, GHG emissions intensity, and climate resilience.

• Develop supplier improvement roadmaps and accelerate qualification of suppliers through the Orange Seal™ certification process.

• Align supply chain action plans with national SDG priorities and regulatory frameworks.


Orange Bond™ Impact Assessment


• Lead corporate clients through the full Orange Bond™ impact lifecycle — embedding robust impact frameworks, monitoring systems, and reporting mechanisms throughout.

• Pre-issuance: conduct ESG and gender-lens diagnostics for issuers and their supply chains; map bond proceeds to SDG 5, SDG 13, national SDG roadmaps, and NDCs; build tailored Impact Frameworks and KPI matrices aligned to Orange Bond Principles, IFC Performance Standards, and relevant green/social bond guidelines.

• Partner with IIX’s Innovative Finance team (which leads transaction structuring, SPOs, and credit ratings) to ensure alignment between financial structuring and impact commitments.

• Produce the Orange Impact Framework, IIX Intelligence™ baseline data packs, and investor-ready impact sections for offering materials.

• Embed Orange Seal™ certification criteria for qualifying suppliers; validate KPI frameworks against market standards, including the ASEAN Taxonomy and EU Taxonomy.

• Post-issuance: deploy IIX Values™ to capture real-time impact data, produce annual Impact Reports and investor dashboards, and flag KPI deviations with corrective action recommendations.

• Use aggregated Orange Bond™ data to advise regulators, exchanges, and policymakers on sustainable finance frameworks and taxonomy evolution, and publish thought leadership on gender equality and climate resilience


Integration of IIX Assessment & Analytics Platforms

• Integrate IIX Values™ and IIX Intelligence™ into every advisory mandate to ensure robust ESG and impact analytics, monitoring, and reporting.

• Embed strong verification and reporting systems in all client engagements to drive transparency and accountability


Team Leadership & Advisory Delivery

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of ESG and sustainability advisors.

• Ensure exceptional client service, high-quality project delivery, and operational excellence across engagements.

• Lead multi-sector advisory engagements spanning agribusiness, energy, manufacturing, consumer goods, and finance.

• Take on leadership of the IIX Values™ and IIX Intelligence™ teams and integrate them into the Advisory practice.


Thought Leadership & Ecosystem Engagement

• Represent IIX at key regional and international forums and contribute thought leadership in sustainable finance and ESG investing.

• Collaborate with DFIs, regulators, financial institutions, and ecosystem stakeholders to drive systemic change and Orange Bond™ adoption.

• Advocate for inclusive finance, gender equality, and climate action through active industry engagement.


What we are looking for:

Experience & Skills:

• 15+ years of leadership experience in ESG advisory, sustainability consulting, impact finance, or corporate sustainability strategy

• Proven track record of building and scaling advisory businesses or consulting practices, with prior P&L ownership and a strong corporate client base

• Deep experience working with corporates and/or financial institutions in South and Southeast Asia, with an established senior-level network across the region

• Expertise across ESG regulation, supply chain sustainability, climate finance, blended finance, and sustainability-linked or gender-lens bonds, combined with strong capital markets understanding and a Master’s degree in sustainability, finance, economics, public policy, or a related discipline
