Impact Fund Denmark is Denmark’s development finance institution, investing in sustainable solutions that create measurable impact in developing countries. While headquartered in Copenhagen, our work extends across more than 45 countries, supported by six regional offices and unite 24 nationalities under one purpose.

You will be part of the Technology & Operations team, which is expanding to 26 professionals, including specialists in processes, architecture, data, and IT Security. Here, you will join a team of experienced and collaborative professionals who are eager to share knowledge and support each other across disciplines.

You shape our digital backbone and architectural direction

We are looking for an Solution Architect, to take the lead in designing, maintaining, and governing the company wide architecture that underpins our global impact. You ensure coherence across platforms, promote future‑ready solutions, and translate business needs into secure, scalable, and well‑governed technologies. Along the way, you will work closely with our subject matter experts, and various business stakeholders.

You will, for example:

• Design and maintain the end‑to‑end organisation-wide architecture for our technology stack, which includes Dynamics 365 CE and F&O, Power Platform, Fabric, Copilot and related SaaS systems.
• Co-own and enforce best practices for deployment, release management, and technical documentation
• Define and create Architecture Principles for our entire technology stack e.g. integration principles and patterns that govern how applications and data interconnect
• Drive a forward‑looking technology perspective, monitoring trends and identifying improvements
• Drive technology selection to evaluate and assess new applications or technology requests to improve our internal value generation and efficiency.

You bring technical insights and architectural understanding

With your background in architectural areas like, Solution Architecture, application/system architecture, Software Architecture or transferable roles), you understand how to turn technical complexity into structured, long-term solutions.

We imagine that you:

• Hold a relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Have strong experience with solution architecture and how applications and platforms integrate
• Understand IT governance, data protection, and compliance
• Communicate clearly with both engineers and business stakeholders
• Desirably have experience from the financial sector

• M365
• Microsoft Fabric
• Microsoft Dataverse
• and several fit for purpose SaaS solutions/applications
