The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experience Daylight Consultant to join our Consultancy team based in our Pune office.

You will be working as a member of our expanding international consulting team, responsible for modelling and analysis, with regards to daylight, of complex large scale projects. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging, international projects and will be given the encouragement and support to develop your career. You will operate CAD/3D software and our own VE (Virtual Environment) software on behalf of our clients. You would be involved in multiple tasks depending on projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Operate CAD software and VE software on behalf of our clients
  • Receiving/reviewing 2D/3D CAD drawings, Revit, Rhino or Sketchup models and preparing drawings for modelling buildings within IES software
  • Building 3D model geometry out of said 2D drawings/3D models for micro climate, daylighting and energy simulation and analysis for consultancy
  • Running Daylight Analysis calculations and presenting results in reports for issuing to clients
  • Preparing Models and graphics for marketing and software sale as and when the business requires

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced (minimum two-three years) modeller, with appropriate and relevant engineering or architectural background, with the following skills and experience:

Essential skills:

  • Two-three years working experience in design using 3D/Energy modelling softwares
  • B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or B.Arch. or a Diploma in graphic design, product design or architectural technology
  • Experience in drafting using CAD tools such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino etc
  • Experience in Architectural industry
  • Strong communication skills including speaking English

Desirable skills:

  • Experience in simulation using tools such as IESVE (preferred)
  • Experience in HVAC
